Congratulations to the Members of the Town of Coxsackie Ambulance Service
It is the Highest Call Volume Coverage since the inception of the Town Ambulance Service. With Ambulance Service coverage being one of the main scrutinies of the Town taking such a drastic action to form a Municple Ambulance Service, the Ambulance Service reports a milestone in Call Volume Coverage of 98% for the month of October 2008. The overall annual average has held steady from the launch of the service at 93-94%. This is where an effective Ambulance Service should maintain coverage. Due to the call volume and availablilty of Ambulance resources one single Ambulance Service cannot possibly cover 100% of their call volume 100% of the time, that is why we have back-up coverage agreements, or mutual-aid agreements, with the other neighboring Ambulance Services, and we recipricate the same expectation to them in their time of need.
Thank to the many career and volunteer memebrs of the Town of Coxsackie Ambulance Service for your time and dedication to the community, and extending the coverage level of the agency in October 2008.
